I was one of the first people to receive help from The Hope Institute. I never in my life thought I would have been helped for my addiction and mental health issues but from the moment I stepped in that door I felt beyond welcome. The counselors take so much time to give you everything you can need on your way to recovery and value all types of approaches when it comes to being sober. I am now clean six months and still use all the tools that my wonderful counselors taught me. I forever feel at home in the institute and keep in touch well after my time there. The place is filled with community, artistic approaches to recovery, and a strong base for allowing those who attend to have a strong foundation for the future. The Hope Institute's staff is incredibly friendly, making clients feel welcomed and supported. I reached out to Will Wallace with genuine concern for a friend; unsure how to handle the situation. He was patient, informative, understanding and empathetic. We spoke on a few different occasions and he was consistently welcoming of my questions and concerns. The morning my friend called me ready for help, I immediately called Will. He spoke to my friend with such humility. Within hours, my friend was in the safety of a detox and with a treatment plan in the works.
